Students from Mountain Pine and Hot Springs School Districts automatically qualify their household for the Affordable Connectivity Program. The Affordable Connectivity Program is a federal provision through the FCC to provide up to $30 towards internet connectivity. Because MPSD and HSSD participate in the CEP program, all of their students qualify. The application process is simple and only requires a (digital) copy of your social security card, your child’s SSN, and a copy of their report card. The process only takes a couple of days, after which you’ll receive a code via email. From there, you only need to provide that code to a participating ISO (Resort & AT&T both participate) to automatically receive $30 off your bill. If you don’t already have internet, they have ACP-ready accounts that are $30/month, and completely free.
